Sure enough shaft won’t fit into the bushing. How can this be sized....in an assembled engine...well oil pan is off anyway. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You will have to take it out. Don't know if you have a machine shop near you. If you have a drill press you could get number bit to drill it but better to have the machine shop do it. I have a drill press but would not trust it to do a perfect job like you need. Or measure the shaft and order one form Summit racing.

oil pump isn’t the problem. Bushing ID is undersize to the distributor/pump drive shaft. Won’t assemble
You'll have to remove the oil pump so you can insert some type of dowel rod and drive the bushing out

Thanks all. Replaced the bushing, buddy had one. The one in there was .010 undersize to the pump drive diameter. Fixed and assembled.
