I bought the wheels from a friend at a good price. They needed some work so my friend and I went at it. After we taped off what we needed to he sand blasted the backs of them. On the front I stripped the paint off then cleaned them up with a Dremel with a wire brush. Then I sprayed them and am happy with the results. Now if I can post three pics I will show them 3 pics in a row. If not I will have to do them one at a time.

Those turned out great. Another step closer.

When I was looking at getting a set of road wheels I contacted a Stephens Performance in North Alabama as to whether they had a good set. The guy I spoke to told me it wouldn’t behoove me to try and get an original set as there was no telling if they would be true and straight. He himself had a Charger, wanted the same wheels I did, and was going to just go with a set of new re-pops.

I was very lucky to find this set. The guy Has a 68 that he fixed up to drag race so he said that he didn't need them. Good for me. They are 6" rims but they are nice for my 68.

AZ Desert,
On old wheels I bolt them to a front hub and spin them, pretty easy to see if they are bent or out of round.
