I may have confused everyone. I mean the actual chrome housing the light goes into. There is no wiring or light in it. Whoever had this car before me hacked out a lot of wiring that wasn't necessary for it to run.

What I should have originally said is the reverse light on the dash by the shifter. Sorry.
The repop at Tony's parts looks like it unscrews on the back. I will crawl my fat ass under there this weekend and look for sure.
Thanks to all for the info.

OK. Got the wiring and the lights squared away. I think the switch on the 4 speed is bad. Two questions. 1. Is it above the oil level so if I take it out the oil will stay in?
2. How does the switch work? Mechanical or magnetic?
