Anyone know where to get a new sail panel for a 68 road runner ? The ones at Classic are not that good of a fit I hear, I want to change mine and quality matters. 2A4F0943-95A8-49F3-8208-4A1C98D467CC.jpeg

Got mine from REM. Just to ask dose the 68 get the board covered like the 69. Oh I did have to buy clips extra for mine and glued them with contact cement. After pre fitting them.

While were on the subject, it's been 10 years since I installed my headliner , I'm doing a 69 this time and was curious if anyone has put a 68 headliner in a 69 ?

You can you just cover over the cardboard sail panels the 68 is one piece that goes all the way down to the package tray areas, the 69 stops short and the sail panels are wrapped separately .

Awesome, that's what I was hoping, I like the look of the 68 headliner better, thanks!

I never knew a 68 headliner was different than a 69. But I have never had a 68 before and can’t ever remember looking at the inside of the C pillar. Thanks for building up my knowledge of all years of the Road Runners.

Hi 1968 man. I have been going to Carlisle for years and have only seen one that was really nice. I am guessing 10 years ago and it was NOS with a price tag of 775.00. I have not really looked at any since that. Big Mo.

Look up Mike Hasuga on Facebook. He started Fish Tails for 67-69 Barracudas. He has restored a few tail panels for Barracudas and I am certain he can lead you to someone that does that type of restorations. Wouldn’t be much different doing one for a Road Runner.
