Which wiring harness brackets?

As part of converting my Road Runner to manual brakes I got a new firewall stiffening plate and it has two holes at the top of it for two wiring harness brackets like this:
s-l1600.jpg. These are listed as being '71-72 brackets and my car is a '73. Can someone please confirm that these were only used up to 1972 and not later? If so then should I weld the holes shut on my new bracket, repaint it, and then used the single, stock style bracket that was on the car before with power brakes to make it look correct for a '73 car, if you could even get a Road Runner with manual brakes in 1973?

I'll answer my own post since no one else will. I decided to go with the above style brackets/clips. Without the brake booster on the firewall the wiring seems to go in an awkward way if I try to use the single tree-like bracket that is used with the brake booster. The wiring takes a more natural route if it goes right above the master cylinder where these clips hold it.

You have to remember that most of the members here own or have experience with first generation RRs. '68 - '70. Not many '71 - '72 guys on here, and even less '73 - '74. So maybe it's not so much that no one will answer your post as it is that no one is able to... No need to get snarky...

I wasn't being snarky - just stating what I decided to do. I don't know why people are so terribly sensitive nowadays.

Yes, this probably isn't the best forum for getting info on what I'm working on.
