1968 road runner gas tank pad

Folks, I am installing a new tank, found No pad on old tank, what material is used between tank and under trunk floor?? also noted there appears to be two
size of gas line for this car 3/8 or 5/16, I have not bought sender unit yet, what size came stock for the 383. Thanks Mike.

Several companies offer the correct pad. The 3/8 fuel line was used on the HEMI engine, yours should be 5/16.
