While my project is in body shop jail, I thought about installing dash speakers that were used with the am/8track radio. I know from the photos where they go but an exact location would be very helpful, Thanks for the input Tom

I can get you measurements from my car and pictures this weekend as only time I will have to get out to the shop.

You will need the speaker grilles for the smaller speakers and there is a fellow in MN. that makes up the speakers for this setup.

Also I found my old harness and set it in to have had a new harness made up for the crossover and speakers that hook-up to the AM/8 track.

Will try and post the pictures as I sure have alot of trouble doing that

Tom,

What kind of measurements do you need/want on the am/8 track?

While my car is without windshield I thought it would be a perfect time to install the speakers on top of the dash, Im not sure how far away from the windshield post or say the dash pad, I guess it doesnt have to be exact but yet I dont want it to look out of place, I will post pic's of the cut and install, thanks for the help Tom

Tom,
Her's the measurements and they are very close as I have my windshield in.

From the dash pad to the grille it's 1 inch.

From the windshield rubber gasket it's very close to 6 inches.
The wide part of the grille goes towards the dash pad with the narrow end towards the windshield.

Really can't get agood picture with the windshield in.

Hope this helps you out.
