The "Saving $20 on a Horn" post reminded me of a converstation I was part of last weekend.
My buddy oversees the mechanical and body shops at a big dealer here in town. He was telling me that they are coming out with new paints AGAIN!!! I wasn't paying too much attention to the story about the last time they changed, but it looks like another big change is coming soon. He says the big problems will be the type of booths that are needed. He says the new paints would actually do better in ancient shops that never changed than the new booths that were built for the new paints.
I hate change for the sake of change. Someone is just trying to justify their jobs and spending money. I wish someone could just tell me what is wrong with the current paints. And if nothing was wrong, then why fix it?
Soemone posted that the application techniques would take a year to be mastered. We did not discuss that, but it makes sense.
