well I went to the shop and they say they don't carry colors from the sixties... After some phone calls he finally get a fax from the factory with some codes etc. The paint guy from the shop said it was also used by Ford back then? This is why I try to get some feedback from the people on this board.
Also try Keytone. They mixed me up a rattle can of B5 with no hesitation while I waited. I needed it for the inside of the trunk under the vinyl matt. Turned out the car was no longer B5 so they scanned my hood and made a perfect match rattle can for the paint on the car now (a shade or two lighter than B5, but unknown. I think they said it was a Mazda G4 color. T'was pricey though. http://www.ketone.com/
Hello again, I have the car painted in primer (Dupont) so the sprayed on filler can cure out. I then needs to be blocked by hand followed by primer and paint.
If I would do this it will be for this winter. I made it driveable for now. This car has a great solid body and frame, trunk etc etc.
I sanded this car down almost to bare metal. Then the body shop man removed all the dings and dents and made the car smooth.
It is now protected for rust and I can put some miles on her before it goes back in the shop.
