Ex means "has been" and a spurt is a drip under pressure.

In other words this stuff isn't set in stone and "correct" can sometimes be somewhat subjective to say the least.

I just pulled to chunk and much to my surprise it is an open.

That is IF I can ever translate the numbers to the letters that I find on the internet.

It never makes sense to me.
