Picked up a real '69 roadrunner finally. She's a 383 4bbl. I had her two day before she needed to got to the shop. My mechanic text me this today. See if u can find a vacuum advance for the distributor .... And a carburetor kit it has a carter AFB #49668-3340. Any clue as to where to find this stuff. I can't wait to be back behind the wheel.

Maybe you might like MSD?

On my big blocks, I generally dont use the vaccuum advance, but instead just plug it off run a bit more initial advance. Maybe this just works at sea level really well?

Better yet, I have run MSD distributor and ignition box on several of my big blocks and I REALLY like how those wake up my engines.

But if it has to look stock for it to be "right" for you then by all means; get the stuff from mancini ($199.00). http://chucker54.stores.yahoo.net/ma361383400e3.html

You might see if you can get the same parts from Jegs also for possibly cheaper ($148.00). http://www.jegs.com/i/Proform/778/66993/10002/-1
