Hey guys I thought I'd start a thread for all the 70 Road Runner, Satellite, and Belvedere owners here. Please share your 70 B body Plymouth rides regardless of what condition your condition is in :0

I'll start it off with an older pic of my first Mopar. A FE5 Black Vinyl top, Charcoal bucket interior 70 Road Runner, 383, 4 Speed, A/G, A31, N85, R22, C16, V88 decklid stripe delete car. It was sharp when I bought it in 1981 but is worse for wear and will be my next project car after I get the R/T back on the road.

Tell us as much or little as you like about your car, it's history, your plans, whatever or just post a picture.

I'll post a current one as soon as I find that damn memory card.

My dad's 70 RR as it was in the late 80's. I need to ask him where this car is.

My 70 RR to the left and my brother's 70 RR to the right, just as we pulled them from my grandmother's property.
My brother's RR was bought by my grandmother brand new in 1970. She was known to do a little drag racing.
My RR was traded for a chord of wood in 1979.

Yes that is unfortunately true. It happened one morning .. the players; a 1,600 mile road trip from TX to IL and back again through the Ozarks, a 68 Coronet R/T, a 70 RR, a utility trailer, and a 25 year old dumbass. I have some pictures somewhere but trust me it's not pretty.

most of us were dumbasses. the only difference is sometime we get away with our stupidity.

Yeah, like the time I drove through the mountains from Asheville, NC to Knoxville, TN with no front brakes. I was the purest definition of dumbass at that age.

70 Belvedere project car that we call the "Dirt-Bird"

We picked up the running driving (although with a crashed front grille) car for $500.00 and then sold the 360/727 engine/trans for $750.00.
We are planning to build a "resto-mod" Superbird clone out of this one.
It has already got a disc brake conversion and very solid floors and frame rails along with a 3.55 geared 8 3/4 rear and a pretty clean interior.
It is going to need a trunk floor and some work on the lower rear quarters. (Don't they all?)
I have the 70 Coronet hood and fenders already ($1500)
The wife says once I get her 69 Charger done I can start on the Dirt-Bird.
HMMMN? What engine do I want to run?
Maybe a Cummins and a 6-speed just to mess with people's minds....

I got away with it way more than once .. but once I didn't :).
