    Rear Differential Question.

    You could be correct. I'll try and remember to take a look at my '76 Fury Sport. It has an 8-1/4" in it. I cannot remember if it has a drain plug in it or not. I think the 8-1/4 covers varied over the years.

    It sounds like the plastic speedo gear is not meshing with the trans output shaft worm gear. There is one bolt that holds a “fork” looking hold down for the speedo gear retainer. There are 4 positions 90 degrees apart that you can install the speedo gear retainer in the transmission. Each...

    Cooper Cobra Radial G/T P235/60R14 their widest 14" RWL BF Goodrich Radial T/A P245/60R14 their widest 14" RWL There maybe wider 14" tires out there, but 245 is the widest I know about. Just saw the date that was posted.

    383 Maximum Bore Size

    According to the Direct Connection book I have, it’s says +0.060” is max overbore from standard 383 bore of 4.250”. So, max bore dia for a 383 would be 4.310”
