- I'm 57 and have had my 69 since 1974,bought it at the Ford dealership I worked at.The car had been traded in for a new Pinto by a female school teacher.It had 51,000 miles on it and had studded snow tires on it when traded in July of 1974.The quarter panels were already starting to rust out behind rear tires.
July 1974 to July 2014 40 years of ownership only thing in my life that has been with me that long.
