- Purchased my first car in 1979 - a 1969 Convertible Road Runner. Worked on and drove the car throughout high school and college. Then came the kids, the bills, etc. etc. and no time or money to do anything with the Big Bird. Started restoring it a few months ago and am pulling the engine to be rebuild and sending the body off to bet straightened and painted. Finally! Looking forward to driving it again. Need some stuff to finish it uo.
