- I had a new 1968 Road Runner when I was 19, it has always been my favorite car. The payments were more than my monthly salary as a private in the army and had to get rid of it. I recently purchased a 1969 RR, having a ball with it. I'm retired and get to as many car shows and cruise ins in Arizona as I can. I love the little cruise ins in the small AZ towns such as Flagstaff, Williams, etc.
