Have not checked here for quite a while. Still have Road Runners on the brain, but have let go of a couple in the last few years. The 75 went to Canada and has not been seen since. The 71 went to central Ill but has changed hands a couple of times. A new picture of it shows up on the interwebs...

We made the annual trip to Carlisle again this year. Started going in 1998 and have not missed a year. Did not take a Road Runner this year so no pictures to add.

Plus if you have an air grabber, this is not an option due to clearance issues.

A coil that is mounted on its side can be installed incorrectly. Both of the wires should be on the lower side of the of the center coil wire. If one wire is above the center coil wire, it will not be covered with the internal oil and will over heat making the life of the unit much shorter.

I went with green bearings. No end play issues with that style of bearings.

I love black cars as long as they belong to someone else.

Just a thought, but are the window fuzzies different between hardtop and post cars?

Interesting that it has the two tone blue seat covers but the one color door panels. Nice car but not for that kind of $.

Put them on and see what happens. You can always take them back off and have them re-arched. :2cents:

One of the most iconic road runner decals of all time. A great addition to any 70 RR no matter if they had them originally or not.

I am confused. Left and right is determined by sitting in the driver seat. The drivetrain is off center to the right to compensate for the steering column as stated above.
