A12 air cleaner base
The fiberglass air cleaner base came in today. Its made by Hybrid Fiberglass Solutions (832) 524-7041. I like it a lot, it feels strong. It is very well made. It will be awhile before I can put it on my running engine. With shipping it came to $200 . I will have to make...
I know there are a couple of places that make those corner drains, but they are way out of my price range, so I will have to make them myself.
I would need to know what size the 90 degree drains are.
Are help or advice would be appreciated.
I have a fiberglass A12 air cleaner, I went with fiberglass due to lower cost. The repo is better if you can afford them.
What I would like to know is what size are the corner drains and what size are the hoses that connect to the corner drains.
I also want to say, build the car how you want to . Drive it the way you want and enjoy it. People who own a mopar muscle car is a rare breed, if they want to clone it, go for it and enjoy.
I have a 69 roadrunner that I am making a clone. I have no problems of people making cars a clone as long as the clone is not being past off as the original. My car will have all the correct parts that was on a original A12. But if you have a guy that is restoring an original a12 and most of the...
I have painted the parts for the body. I haven't painted parts on the engine. I don't know if it would stand up to the heat. You could paint a small bolt to test it. But you could also test it by painting the part and baking in your oven at 300 degrees and see how it does. Some guys don't use...
The front of the can says:
Ace Premium Enamel,,,,,, orange gloss.
Number is 17016 and on the bottom of can is says: I17016A00
I think that the color match is very close. Give it a try, the can only cost around $6 dollars.
If you painted your car street hemi orange ev2 and you needed to paint a few bolts or brackets. You would normally have to buy factory paint, hardener, reducer and the clear. This would be very expensive to just paint a few bolts or brackets. I have found a much cheaper alternative. Ace Hardware...
I was wondering if anybody has used the electronic conversion kits from summit, jegs, or mancini where they use their own distributor. Would these systems be better than MP electronic conversion kits.
Electronic conversion engine harness for 440-6
:courage::courage:
The car is all painted, I am now working on the engine compartment. I have to rebuild the 440 engine and I have to do the exhaust system and interior. I read on a couple of other threads on another site that MP is phasing out...
I am planning on using the MP electronic conversion distributor and orange box. If I am right, I think that I have to install a 70's later alternator. I didn't buy them yet but those are the plans.
I will have to check the color of the new harness with the service manual. But in the meantime maybe someone has done this before and can tell me how to do it.
