I know there are a couple of places that make those corner drains, but they are way out of my price range, so I will have to make them myself. I would need to know what size the 90 degree drains are. Are help or advice would be appreciated.

I have painted the parts for the body. I haven't painted parts on the engine. I don't know if it would stand up to the heat. You could paint a small bolt to test it. But you could also test it by painting the part and baking in your oven at 300 degrees and see how it does. Some guys don't use...

The front of the can says: Ace Premium Enamel,,,,,, orange gloss. Number is 17016 and on the bottom of can is says: I17016A00 I think that the color match is very close. Give it a try, the can only cost around $6 dollars.

I am planning on using the MP electronic conversion distributor and orange box. If I am right, I think that I have to install a 70's later alternator. I didn't buy them yet but those are the plans.

I have the service manual with the wiring diagrams, but it don't say anything about 440-6 wiring. Would the 440-6 wiring be different.
