- First owned a new triple black 69 Road Runner that I picked up 3 days after a I got home from Vietnam. In 1997 I started looking for a 69 Road runner and instead found the GTX. It was very rough, took 6 years before it was actually on the road, and another 6 years before the paint was completed.
