- I am a proud owner of a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner that I purchased in high school in 1974. It has a 383 with a standard four speed. I have made a couple upgrades to the engine including a "purple camshaft" and ceramic coated headers and high rise manifold. Original paint was vitamin C orange. Still drive it today and it runs "strong" and does mid 13's in the quarter mile.
