    The plug is in the front casting on the passenger side...I watched a video on you tube that was an original chrysler service video of a 8.25 rebuild and it looked exactly the same.

    That does look like the cover but my housing doesent have the 2 bosses sticking down on the bottom corners and it has a pinion snubber bolted to the top...I have never seen that on a chevy.

    I would love to swap this out for a 8.75 but my resources are limited because i have only built mostly gm cars and trucks... i dont have too many leads on any mopar diffs in this area
