- I am the owner of a 69 1/2 Roadrunner that I am in the process of completing restoration. This vehicle was last driven in 1974. I purchased this vehicle in 1984 and have been working on it on and off for the last 30+ years.
I originally purchased a new 69 Roadrunner in 1969 that was a 383 4sp car. I sold it in 1975 and have always wanted to have another one.
Having a decent place to work on the restoration was always a problem until I moved into my latest house with an oversized outbuilding.
Finding parts for this restoration (since it was a basket case) was always a challenge. However, today's availability of restoration parts has made this infinitely easier.
