- I've just turned 60, but don't act it, and have owned a Road Runner since I was 17. It was a green 69, 383 automatic, which happens to be a twin to the one I own now (since 1980) My first new car was a red 74. Since then I have had (3) '68's, one of which was a HEMI HT 4 sp, and 1 Superbird. My Dad, back in the day had 2 '69 ragtops, and a '68 HEMI Coupe. Needless to say it's been a family affair with Road Runners. The only one left is my current green '69. I stumbled across this site and thought what the heck. Might be interesting to see what its all about. Thanks for letting me in!!
