I have a Retrosound in my car and I'm not all that inpressed. The radio doesn't fit the bezel openings very well, there's a lot of open space around them, and the dials aren't full circles, The are like a rocker switch so you have to push it multiple times to adjust the volume or stations...

Do a search for "Firmfeel", or "Steer and Gear" they should be able to help you. I got a box for my '69 'Bird a number of years ago and I've been very happy with it. There are also several other companies out there.

I wouldn't say so. Remember, when these cars were new, that's all they were, new cars for everyday transportation, and a street race or two thrown into the mix. I'd imagine that there were far more of these cars with hitches then you may think there were. In fact I know someone who has...
