Yes, it can be adjusted down. If you're able you can do it yourself. There should be directions in the factory service manual and there are a few videos on youtube on how to do it. be award that you will have to do a front end wheel alignment after you're done.

Hey Harold, good to see you back. I hardly see any of the later Road Runners around here.

My car had steelies on it when I first got it. Still have them and they might go back on the car for a different look. Besides I like the plain jane look. That little bird on the doors gets all the attention the car or I need!

Here's my F5 car that I've had 20 yrs.. I was at a show last weekend where there were 2 other green Road Runners.

Never found one in my car. The interior color was changed before I bought the car so I'm sure the sheet ended up in the circular file.

Here's my '69 Fury to give you some incentive to get yours done. I've had it 10 years now.

Does it have the original Carter carb on it? That's what I have on my car and if it sits for more then a few days it will evaporate all the gas in the bowls which then means it will crank for a while to refill the bowls. It then starts fine for that day. It's a problem only after sitting.

I have the Carter 4638 on my car and has been trouble free for the twenty years I've had the car. I have rebuilt it one time.
