I have seen them on Sport Sat and GTX's but not on a Road Runner. I guess anything is possible.

Yes the Road Runner come with a rear defroster as an option. My car has it and it work's. H31 is the option code and it cost $21.90 back in the day. It is quite a rare option though as only 3% of all Road Runner's had this. I have only seen a few with it and I look at every runner that I come across at car show's,cruise's and such. Even Carlisle and Moparfest may only have one or maybe two each year. My car is a Lynch Road car that was exported to Canada so maybe this is the reason for the one in mine. My Challenger has one too but this car has alot of options though. Easy way to tell if a Road Runner ever had the rear defroster option is to look for the toggle switch to the left of the washer button on the switch panel. This is where it is located. It will say R.DEF. It is in the same location as the convertible top switch on drop top car's. Hope this help's.

Wow, that's pretty cool; and a superb selling point! If you were ever to sell that it.

Yup - my car came with one also. Very few road runners were so equipped. The info I have is as follows:
1969 Roadrunner hardtop shipments w/H31 (Rear Defogger) 3.3% 1,547
This is from info provided by Galen Govier for a previous owner.

Tragically the RR Forum lost three members today when out of nowhere ACME safes fell from the skies in AZ, CT, and OH...:basketcase:
