Warning lights

Hi just like to know if anybody out there knows what the warning light to the left of the speedo is? 68 non-rallye gauge. Was driving tonight and it would come on for a few minutes, and then turn off for a few minutes, pretty much all the way home.

Haven't had it come on before, and its not marked like the brake or oil light. Also a

much smaller light.

Well that explains alot. Any reason why it would be coming on and off though?

If you were not using the dimmer switch on the floor I would look at the switch and wiring at the switch first.

I was testing them out earlier in the evening, just to check the switch works, no problems there. Ive had the right indicator light in the cluster conk out recently, and the aftermarket stereo hiding under the front seat also cuts out intermittently at idle (safety mode?). I was thinking maybe I've got an overcharge problem with the alternator..? its happened before, small electrical faults usually the 1st sign
