Someone also said there was no Petty Blue, only Corporate Blue, that’s not what I seen in the video, I’m just saying, my money would be on the video because I own a 68 999 which means a non factory color. Corporate blue is a factory color so the 999 would not be on the fender tag.

Ive also got a 999 68. I think mine was originally Omaha orange, now Hemi orange, done before I bought the car. depending on the light, it goes from way-orange, to decidedly more red, usually at dusk.

Tor red or V2 was a 1970 color but Bahama Yellow, Orange and Ralley Green were also 999 codes in 1969.

Yep , 68 and early 69 you could get any color you wanted on a Mopar as long as you paid for it up front. That’s when the 999 paint code appeared. Non factory color. I think that’s right.

I heard that for the dealers to get Omaha orange cars , was to pay up front and they were still having to sneak the order through .

Actually 999 code ran through 1970 some of the colors I listed above were 1969 spring colors
