A12 hood hinges

Well I'm getting older and since I moved after I retired I don't have as many helpers around as I did before. Taking that a12 hood on and off needed a helper. So I thought I needed a better answer. This is what I came up with.

Stole the idea originally from Ian roussou ? And I did make a mock up to make sure I cleared the grill. It’s close but I don’t hit the floor.
Going back up is very easy, lifting it out is tougher but still doable with one person.
