Air filter base and top plates.

We'll have been working on the air filter. One thing leads to another. Cut it down to work with my holey intake. Took a washer and welded it to the all thread with a lock nut to keep it from unscrewing that holds the base to my carb.cut the cross bar down that holds it in place. One thing leads...

Air filter base and top plates.

Ok so here it goes. my base plate on the air filter for the air grabber system has a bridge in it with a hole in the middle to tighten it to the carb. Also two studs to hold the top plate in place. Mine is hitting the carb and won't allow It to fully seat to the carb. Have cut it off and the...

three speed wiper swaps from two speed.

Thanks for the info. I have the wiring diagram for the car also. I am missing one wire spade, and it looks like the brown with white tracer loop between two of the spades on the switch. But will look into the wiring harness and see if one is there or not.

    Air grabber sides

Got all of my parts and in the process of putting it on. Stuck in the three-speed wiper motor and switch. The motor was not hard to swap. But the switch is being a pain. The plug from the two speed fits the tree speed switch and have one spade not being used or no wire to go there any thoughts...

Ok so I had a two-speed wiper motor and switch. Putting the fresh air grabber on and had to change the wiper motor and switch. Is there anything special about the wiring to the new three speed motor switch I should know. Tried it yesterday and the wipers move some but not strong. The plug went...

When you first start thinking this won't take that long. Bought three quarters of my car with all new sheet metal. Yes, it went on and on. Oh God just let me turn this corner. Then the worst happened when I installed the roof skin. Went to put the glass in and it would not fit. Broke one after...

    Aftermarket A/C for '72 Bird?

Sorry for the luck. Got mine for the runner from Classic auto air. But it is a 69 runner. Did have to cut holes in fire wall for lines. Had to take it to a shop to have charged. Works OK but not like factory. But better than nothing in summer here in Fla. LOL.
