The booster might work but the masters are different disc and drum. Also manual brakes use a smaller piston which applies more pressure so if you want power drums you might want a different master. I had a 66 Chrysler 300 with power drums and they worked very well.
Looks like someone put a 3/8" sending unit in that has an extra port for a return line for Hemi's and 440's. They put a hose from it to one of the vents and the one going into the trunk looks ok. The way its plumbed should work although not correct it leaves one vent, I would try to duplicate...
If you want to run down the highway at all 3.55, its about 300 RPM more at highway speed and 300 more for each gear set lower. How tall are the rear tires ? I'm around 3000 RPM at 70 with 3.54s
