After I get up to speeds over 30mph, my speedometer startsmaking racket and the needle bounces back and forth to 20+/- mph faster than I'm going. The noise sounds like the speedo cable is slipping in the socket, or the speedometer gears are jumping track. It doesn't always start at 30mph...

Grew up listening to dad talk about the 69 Roadrunner he purchased new. We tried briefly to find it but could not. He has since passed away and I found his car and bought it from a really cool guy that gave it a rotisserie restoration about the time dad passed away.
