Have not checked here for quite a while. Still have Road Runners on the brain, but have let go of a couple in the last few years. The 75 went to Canada and has not been seen since. The 71 went to central Ill but has changed hands a couple of times. A new picture of it shows up on the interwebs...
We made the annual trip to Carlisle again this year. Started going in 1998 and have not missed a year. Did not take a Road Runner this year so no pictures to add.
A coil that is mounted on its side can be installed incorrectly. Both of the wires should be on the lower side of the of the center coil wire. If one wire is above the center coil wire, it will not be covered with the internal oil and will over heat making the life of the unit much shorter.
I am confused. Left and right is determined by sitting in the driver seat. The drivetrain is off center to the right to compensate for the steering column as stated above.
