Thought some might like this.
I enjoy long distance shooting like NHRA Drag Racing and classic cars. My 14 year old son (don't be fooled, he's one of the best marksmen I know, and that's including ex military buddy's and family) made his longest shot few weeks ago. He has 20/10 vision in his right eye and can manage his breathing way better than most.
We rented a range w/ a group of guys and shot out to 1,100 yards. My son was the 1st one on target at 1,000 w/ a .308 between my buddy and I. Then he made his 1,100 yard shot. Wish I got to do that when I was his age!
