Just purchased a refurbished 1978 440 .It’s on original bore just a re ring.bores were touched up.crank bearings done.valves re ground.It came with a torker 2 intake .No carby.Ok so I do know these have low compression on these years .The question is what do I need to get this up to around 450+hp.

Grate score. Cam and carb. Call 440 source and they will be able to give you a better answer.
