I have already posted the back story to my 69 RR in my introduction. Here I will post pics and updates along the way.

This afternoon was a pretty successful one. I took the seats, center console and carpet out.
I was happy to find barely any rust on the floor of the car. The only spot was near the passengers feet. (Below)

I was also stoked to find what I believe is the build sheet. It was under the carpet, under the drivers side. It's pretty rough but hey it's 48 years old :). (Below)

The top plates of the center console don't look to bad. These things are $600+ online so I'm going to do my best at restoring them. (Below)

Sorry about all the photos. Tried using tapatalk and all the photos were grainy. Now I can't remove them as attachments.

Got the fuel tank out this afternoon. I would estimate it had about half a tank of smelly stuff in it. The fuel sending unit has seen better days.

Took a tire off to look at the brakes. Really surprised at how everything is looking.

Pads look decent, wheel cylinder looks dry, if inside of drum is smooth, looks pretty good.
Tank can be cleaned and checked for leaks. I'd say time for a new sending unit. check front brakes as well. They tend to wear more than the rear. Good start!
