Anyone have a good plan for sealing the band adjusting bolt above the safety neutral switch? Thought the leak was either from a transmission cooler line or the NSS,but at the highest point is the band bolt, and a dab of oil resistant gasket is not the answer.
Sounds simple enough, just don’t want to big deal it.
Also thinking of changing out the trans pan for one with a magnetic drain plug.
Thoughts?
Thanks!!

Teflon tape? I thought I remembered an O ring on the shaft.
I have changed every automatic transmission I've had to a pan with a drain plug. It makes servicing much less messy. As far as a magnetic plug, if the pan was magnesium I would use one. If the pan is steel I just used the magnets that came in the stock pan
