I want to put headers on my car. I have the 906 heads. Do the exhaust manifold studs extend into the water jackets?

Pretty sure all stock cast iron heads have water jacket bolt holes. Just spreading sweetness and light.

Yes so use some sealant on the threads. Don't think its all of them so do a little probing with a small screw driver if you like

Ive used gray RTV without problems, others might chime in.

Thinking about Dougs or TTI headers. What do you use? For a 383 with 906 heads.

I use the old Teflon tape and my water jackets are all the way around
