I saw a picture of a 69 Satellite convertible in the September issue of Mopar Muscle. It was in the Mopar Nationals section.

I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about the car. I think it's pretty unique...and kinda cool.

It looks like a tribute to the Year One "Red Runner", which I know all of you are huge fans of... :grouphug:

I saw that car several years ago at the Nationals. Who ever owns it parked beside me at Tumbleweed in Heath. I may have a few photos of it, but it'll take a few days for me to look for them.

Thanks for the info Dobie.
Although I'm personally more into keeping the cars as close to original in appearance as possible, I like this car.
On my convertible, there's not a lot left that is "original", but I've kept it original in appearance with oem and repop parts.
Maybe deep down I'm just a little jealous of someone that has the balls to do whatever the hell they want to their car without care of what the "Mopar Community" thinks.

Yeah no doubt. Its not my cup of tea, but I applaud the owner for doing as he sees fit.

It is better than the Year One car, mainly because of the stock dash, etc. Not a big fan of the Billboards on the B Bodies.
and yes, it's your car, your $, do what ever makes you happy.

Hate the steering wheel.

I can almost put up with everything else.... I just absolutely hate the steering wheel.

Yep. I agree too. Way to much going on for my liking. A neat car though nonetheless.
