Not bad when you consider a crate hemi is 15k and it needs to come apart also. The crate engines have a bad reputation :yesnod:

Also, no vin# on the pad must of been a replacement block.
or ground off :D fresh ready for someone to stamp there vin on it :jester:

I’m sure people do this but can they get away with it? Say that the owner claims that it’s a replacement block. Is there a way to prove it? I’m not thinking of buying this engine I’m new to this and just want to learn. Also, if this is commonly done how I can trust that the vin stamp on my block is legit?
