nope, but I would look into problems with the cheep linkage set up.

I have one in mine. 
I didnt have the factory mounting in my roadrunner for the console because the last owner hacked them out. so I bought after market mounts from somewhere I forget, and mounted the shifter in place. then with the mount connected to the console placed it over the shifter with the cover and slid it back an fourth till I found the sweet spot for the shifter to work without hitting all the way forward and back. also I think I had to shim it up a little about 3/8 inch. its in and works but I only did it because I had to. I'm using a 4 speed transmission with reverse manual valve body so I needed the extra shift point that a stock 3 speed shifter would not work.
