Blown Head Gasket

I blew a head gasket last week, while taking off the head I found this. Luckly the only damage was the rocker, push rod and head gasket. I even found the small rounded piece of the rocker that got pushed out. After repair have put about 30 minutes on engine and it runs like a top again.

Yep, seen a bunch of those over the years.

Sometimes the lifter will pop out and you'll lose oil pressure.

Looks like the lock nut is missing on your adjustable rocker arm... :lmao:

You must have been ecstatic to find that little round chunk of metal; no one wants that kind of crap floating around in there...
