Brake master cylinder outlets, left or right ?

I see brake master cylinders for power disc brakes with outlets to left or right sides ? What is correct for what application ? Thanks for your help

They are on the fender side on my GTX. (power disc)

my 69 had them engine side , my 70 has them fender side

My 69 has manual brakes and the outlets on the master cylinder are facing fender side.

my 69 has power disk with factory air and ports are on the engine side, seems to me thats where there is more chances of heat on the lines
