I tried this on the A body site with no luck so here we go. On my 68 A-body going to a early 70s disc setup, how much wider will it set the front wheels

So my 14X6 3.5" BS pro stars will work as long as I don't go tire crazy ?

This swap has only been done about a zillion times...your wheels will be fine... I told you this before... :toetap:

:D

I don't remember which steering knuckles you are using, but here's some good info on both, as well as rotor options:

Not sure what any of this has to do with your straight axle set-up anyway... :basketcase:

I had some yoohoo tell me it was 1.5 inches on each side. Still I need to get 8" wheels for the back the 10s stick the sidewall out to far. Anyone got an extra left side big ball joint upper control arm ? This on has a loose bushing issue

BTW there may have been a little bit of a tangle between an A12 Bee and a Boss 302 getting on the freeway the other day. Lets just say the Boss 302 was first runner up by a few cars. I didn't know how to break the news to you.

He wouldn't need the "magic key" to handle the 413 Bee...either you were the only one engaged in an acceleration contest...or you mistook a V6 Mustang with some stripes for a real one... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

No, he's just trying to aggravate me because I bought a new muscle car rather than another old one. I have plenty of old ones already...and they have their place in my heart and garage. What I wanted/needed/bought was something that I could drive everyday in comfort...and still have boat loads of fun with. The BOSS is the finest vehicle I have ever owned. PERIOD. It turns 90 degrees at nearly any speed, will put shoulder harness bruises on your torso and send you crawling to the chiropractor if you stomp the brakes, accelerates like Hemi A-Body, and gets 18 smiles to the gallon in town with the air conditioning system throwing ice cubes at you in the heat of the Florida summer. The discussion regarding a 44 year old A12 racing a new BOSS itself is stoopid. Unless Ronnie himself was at the helm an average A12 is mid-13 car and the new BOSS with Stevie Wonder at the helm is a half a second or more faster. Put someone at the wheel that can drive and they run low 12's. You just can't bury your head in the sand and ignore 40+ years of technological advances. Just search youtube - they're there all day long running high 11's with only drag radials added. Add an AED tune and you have close to 500 horses at the rear wheels and can still knock down 32 MPG on the highway. Enough already.
