Hey Guys,

Looking to replace my carb and I have it narrowed down between two. So please don't recommend other brand carbs. Just looking for advice in regards to choosing between an Edlebrock Performer 600 CFM carb or an Edlebrock Thunder Series AVS 650 CFM for a stock Roadrunner.

I had the Thunder Series on a '69 Charger and it worked great. However my charger had a high flow intake manifold and a mild cam.

So with that said, what are you thoughts between these two carbs? My roadrunner has a 2.5" exhaust. I plan on replacing the intake manifold with a better flowing version. But thats it.

thanks!

Thunder Series is much more tunable on the secondary side. AVS design is much better than the AFB IMO.
