How do I delete an attachment, I'm new here and feel like an idiot.

So far since posting here in the last week after being away for a long time I have managed to double post an attachment and post an image in the WRONG thread :redface: When I go back to edit or delete the attachment I have no luck finding the correct way to delete an attachment....please help this dumba$$ thanks.

I'll attach this wrong car so I can un-attach it with help :witless:

I've never had problems deleting attachments. All I do is open the thread, click on edit post, and then highlight anything I want to delete and hit the delete key. Then I click on the attachment 'paperclip' icon and remove the unwanted attachment from the list.
