It's been a busy week

Very nice!

Your SS/T is black, correct? Think I have seen a pic somewhere before which is what makes me think that... Even though mine has been garaged probably more than half of its life the Florida sun has cooked the paint on the hood and the roof. Might give myself a new paint job for Christmas...we'll see... Needs a new dash too...the sun down here is just brutal...

:jester:

Still have a lot of work to do. The concrete truck made a mess of the yard. I will have to plant new crab grass this spring. I just hope it doesn't all wash away before then.

My SSt has been under roof it's entire life. Except for the amount of time it has spent on the road to accumulate 109,000 miles. The paint still looks as good as it did on day one. Here is a picture of it a couple of years ago.

Looks great Harold. That's a lot easier then what another former member did once! Those from the original site will know who I mean. What was it, 10,000 bricks he hand layed?

shoulda just threw down some limestone like we do......looks great Harold. needs some burnout marks though..... :drive:

That concrete work and door look really good!
About the SS/T, my real good friend locally had a black '97 or '98 with those silver stripes and a 360.
It ran really well - until some A-hole hit him practically head-on and totalled the truck. My buddy, Mark still talks about that truck. And yeah, he got injured pretty good, the bone in his shoulder still pokes up under the skin.

You could land a plane on that, its allot of concrete. Harold did they saw cut the joints into it, thats what it looks like in the pics?

Yes. You have to in this freeze and thaw climate. The idea is to have the concrete crack where you want it to.
As they say around there, there are 2 kinds of concrete. Cracked and hasn't cracked yet.

and i hope they installed steel mesh when they poured it too

Yes, and there is a tri-axle load of gravel under it also. Drainage was an issue. I installed pipes under it to have the gutters drain to the street. This driveway should be around long after I'm gone.

Thank's John, I was beginning to wonder if any of the original bunch that's still here remembered Linenup. I wonder where Jerry is now. He popped in a few times but has been awol for quite a while now.
