Light group option

My car has the light group option. There is a small light that sits over the ignition switch to help you find the key hole in the dark. Mine is not working. My question is, has anyone pulled one of these lights from under the dash? I can reach in from below the dash and touch the light, but I don’t know how to remove it for bench testing. I see a yellow lead wire with a dark stripe that plugs into the wiring harness through a gray plug. I’m not finding anything on wiring diagrams that show the circuit for this light. Thank you

The light socket should just pop out if the mounting bracket. If you have a working ashtray light then the light circuit is OK. There is time delay for the ign switch light that is shaped like a small round canister that is usually the problem if the bulb checks good.
