Looking for a long lost bird

Hello,
An uncle of mine sold a Dark Green 69 with is black stripe in Carmel Valley, CA in the early 80's. It was from Long Island NY and I think he could not get it smogged at the time. It also needed clutch work and some tlc. It had a bench seat with a tear on the driver's side. I've been wondering if anyone knows of this car. Is it still on the road? Possibly for sale? Any help would be appreciated.
 
any idea of the vin? pictures of the car? lotta green mopars back in the '60s.
 
I know it's a longshot, don't have that info. I will try to dig up some pix. Thought maybe the vague story could help.
 
Dont give up. I found My Fathers 70 Charger that I sold about 10 years ago. I have been in contact with the new owner and am #1 on the list if and when he sells. Still kicking myself over that. I did not have a VIN and found it on E bay. Little things about it were unmistakable.
