looking to order chrome lug nuts...does the 69 RR have a left hand thread pattern?

Yours probably were changed out at some point then...many were...

1970 they changed to all RH thread but like the moderator said allot of the pre 70 left hand studs got changed out

Yeah, mine where probably changed, but I don't remember my original (purchased new) '69 being LH threads. Then again, that WAS 47 years ago.

IIRC, there should be a letter "L" stamped into the end of the stud if they are still left handed threads.

My 69 Dart was my first experience with lefties. When the impact broke 3 studs off, I looked at them and said "What's this "L" for?". LOL! I was 17 and didn't know.

lotta tire shops broke them off as well. first thing I usually change on an old mopar, then sell'm off to the original guys.

Classic industries have both also replacement stud's if you want to make them all right handed. Check page 371 for the info in the book. Russ. :wave:

I can believe this with first hand experience. I just put torque thrust D mags on the runner and rechecked torque after the first 50 miles or so, AND guess what.... Every nut in the right side of the car were slightly loose and needed a little tightening to bring them back to a 100 ft. Lbs... Every nut on the L, drivers side, were still tight...
