Sounds like the "Inaugural 69LaMancha.net Reunion" should be held on Kauai in 2011... :lol:

We'd all be driving rented Jeeps instead of Runners...but, hey, what the heck, right? :D

that place is #1 on my bucketlist. how are the locals? I heard years ago they weren't too friendly to outsiders.

They can be a little shy but most everyone is very nice there.

I did some searching on the internet and came up with Ray running his secret Duster that he stashed in Hawaii at the dragstrip.

One issue... Mrs Big John has grown to hate flying. When we first met, she was flying a bit for work and started telling me how she was always pulled out of line to be searched (yea... blond hair, blue eyes, typical terrorist), her luggage lost, flights cancelled etc. I thought she was exagerating until I flew with her a few times. Since then... I've been searched, had flights cancelled at the last minute... etc. I used to like to fly... not anymore.

We're headed to Branson. MO next week.... by train.

That is on Mrs. ACME's to-do list... Please let us all know how that goes...as frankly I'm not too amped up for that one and could use some positive vibes if there are any to be had...kinda sounds like Dollywood on steroids to me...
